The dawn of 2011 will see a major countdown for many catering operators as the Rugby World Cup momentum picks up and reaches its climax. Catering Plus launched its coverage for this, the largest sporting and catering event in New Zealand history, in September 2009 and we will continue to bring you in-depth coverage from a catering perspective until the conclusion of the tournament.

In 2010 Catering Plus continued its Table Design Awards. The awards were launched in 2009 as a result of increased popularity overseas of creative table settings. The competition has seen a lot of interest from industry representatives and we hope it will stimulate more of a creative trend in table setting in New Zealand.

2011 marks our 14th birthday at Catering Plus. In a time when publications are under increasing pressure, we believe Catering Plus still has a strong market presence and the ability to adapt and stay focused on the catering industry, specifically.
