Year 1 and Year2 Diploma in Patisserie and certificate students at Auckland University of Technology recently completed their end of year assessments, which you will see from the photographs speak for themselves in expertise.

"The Mad Hatter's Tea Party" theme for first year diploma students and the certificate students, who combined in a presentation, had everything from bunnies searching for carrots in muffins to the ‘hat’ itself.

The 2nd year diploma students had to each produce a buffet presentation, consisting of seven components, to be assessed. These particular items had to relate to a theme each student had chosen for their presentation. Some of themes included Las Vegas, High Tea, Summer Time and Alice in Wonderland.
